TRAGEDY has struck the Dingle family in recent weeks but they’re not yet out of the woods.
Emmerdale beautician Mandy Dingle gets terrible news in upcoming scenes and faces losing her entire business.
Mandy Dingle gets a nasty shock in Emmerdale
It all begins when Bernice finds out there’s an opening at the B&B
Eric Pollard gives her the new job
The festive period is anything but cheerful in the Dales for the Dingle clan who is still reeling after a series of unfortunate events.
Most recently, Woolpack pub manager Chas Dingle was exposed for having an affair with the late businessman Al Chapman.
But there’s more trouble looming ahead, particularly for Lisa Riley‘s Mandy Dingle.
And it could mean a troubling start to 2023.
Coming up on ITV, Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) tries to recruit people for her menopause support group as she tries to cope with her diagnosis.
She later gets an idea when Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) reveals a position at the B&B could be up for grabs.
Meanwhile, Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop) tells a shocked Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) that she and Pollard will be retiring.
This prompts Bernice to show off her plans for the B&B and she’s then chuffed to find out Pollard has decided to give her the job.
Bernice and Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) bounce off each other as they make plans for the B&B, while the latter sets up his gear for the upcoming New Year’s Eve party as DJ Bob.
However, Bernice sees her bubble is burst and her plans thwarted when Mandy insists that she works out her one month notice.
Sadly, Mandy then contemplates having to close the Salon without Bernice.
But she’s left livid when Bernice plans to take Wendy Posner and Bob’s business away from the salon.
As a result, Mandy decides to fire her on the spot – but Bernice is happy to know everything has played out the way she had hoped.
Aside from Mandy’s business woes with Bernice, another Dingle is set to stir up trouble in the eponymous village in future scenes of the Yorkshire-based drama.
Thrown behind bars for the murder of Al Chapman, which he pleaded guilty to, Cain Dingle will be receiving the shock visit of a secret and long-lost Dingle.
What sort of trouble will he bring?
