All Grown Up
Sixteen years after the release of the hit family film Marley & Me, Ben Hyland, the former child star, looks completely different from his floppy-haired on-screen persona.
A Success Story
The movie, which revolved around a family's relationship with their Golden Retriever, was a success, with Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson leading the cast.
A Transformation
Ben, who portrayed Conor, the youngest son of the Grogan family, has undergone a significant transformation since his Marley & Me days. Now all grown up, he sports cropped dark hair, a beard, and a cheeky grin.
An Acting Journey
Marley & Me marked Ben's first professional acting role, and since then, he has had various guest appearances in popular TV shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Blue Bloods. He also appeared in Netflix's House of Cards for three episodes.
The Strain
Ben's biggest role outside of Marley & Me was playing Zach Goodweather in the series The Strain. However, the showrunners decided to recast the role after just one season due to upcoming storylines.
"We are sad to see Ben go," said showrunner Carlton Cuse. "He is a very talented actor and a wonderful person. We will all miss him and thank him for his great work."
A New Chapter
Ben Hyland has come a long way since his days as a child star in Marley & Me. With a successful acting career and a new look, he has left his mark in the entertainment industry.
