Marnie Simpson ‘fears she’s possessed by evil spirit’ as ‘paranormal activity’ follows her to new £1.2m mansion

GEORDIE Shore star Marnie Simpson is seen shaking after she fears she’s been “possessed” by an evil spirit.

The mum-of-two reveals she’s been plagued by paranormal activity for years and is horrified when it appears to have followed her to her new £1.2m home.

Marnie, 31, is left utterly freaked out during her stint on Celebrity Help! My House is Haunted when she and the team try to work out who or what is spooking her.

The reality star believes she has been tormented by spirits ever since she moved into her first home.

She said: “I bought my first house in 2017 and that was the first time I’d lived alone without my mum.

“There were lights switching on and off, there were noises, bangs. It’s just really freaky. We could never explain it.”

She went on: “It was the loud bangs, the noises, the commotion. The electricity is so unpredictable. Things cut out. Sometimes the telly will just switch on.

“We’d always see shadows walking past the windows and then when we’d double take, they’d be gone.”

Marnie thought she would be able to escape the pesky poltergeist by moving house but it seems the entity is rather attached to the star.

During the episode Marnie and the group attempt to call upon the spirit to find out whether it is her or the house that could be haunted.

After speaking out loud to the room while using recording equipment they are stunned to hear a clear voice say: “I’m here.”

Already freaked out, Marnie is left shaking when paranormal researcher Jayne Harris tells her that the sound came from her and not the house.

Looking genuinely scared, she asks the experts: “What? I’m literally shaking, that is so freaky.

“Does that mean there’s something within me?”

Demonologist Ben Winfield later tells her he thinks she has “an Elemental Guardian” that may have started following her after she visited a graveyard.

Ian Lawman, a dark arts specialist, then warns her: “I feel there’s something attached to you as a person rather than the property.”

Marnie is rumoured to be marrying her fiancé Casey Johnson, with whom she shares sons Oax and Rox, on the next series of Geordie Shore.

The show will return for The Reunion series again this year – despite bosses saying the initial return was a one-off special.

Discussing Marnie’s wedding, a source told The Celeb Report that it’s set to take place in March.

They said: “Marnie and Casey’s wedding is fast approaching and they’ve decided to finally tie the knot.

“Marnie is nervous but so excited and the wedding will happen when she returns from Colombia.”

The Celeb Report contacted Marnie’s representatives who had no comment.
