Married At First Sight Australia’s Sam reveals he refused to return to reunion show after begging to leave series

MARRIED At First Sight Australia’s bad boy Sam Ball has revealed he refused to make a return for the reunion show.

The 26-year-old – who today lifted the lid on his “fake affair” with Ines Basic – says he begged to leave the hit dating show midway.

Sam Ball will not feature in the reunion show

Now it appears there was bad blood with producers and other cast members when Sam turned down the chance to film a finale episode.

He told fans: “For everyone asking, even with my four days notice to go on I won’t be attending the reunion that was filmed last year. I said no.”

The Married At First Sight stars turned against Sam after it was revealed he spent the night with another bride against their partners’ backs.

On the E4 series this week, outraged viewers watched Ines and Sam cheat by spending the night together in a Gold Coast hotel room.

Sam claims his affair with Ines was staged

However, Sam has since revealed the alleged affair was completely fake.

He claims the romance was staged by producers after they forced him into a dark room and told him to make-up the romance.

Sam ranted on Instagram: “Thank you to all you guys in the UK enjoying the show because I’m about to ruin it for you.

“So the experts don’t pick the couples, the producers do. They have a list of people they have to find and approach them on Instagram and ask you to go on the show.

Sam and Ines were shown in bed together

“I actually did apply to go on the show, that’s the funny part. But I know Elizabeth didn’t apply.”

Discussing the Ines scenes, Sam said: “They pulled me into a dark room and asked me to do the Ines scenes – they set that up. They made Ines DM me on the phone, that was all staged.

“I did what I was asked to do with all of that. I didn’t really care what it looked like. I was in the zone. I’ve acted before in TV commercials and it was a job for me.

“I got paid to do this by the way. I got paid to do it this, just like everyone else.”

Sam says producers forced him to act a certain way

He continued: “Then all the Ines stuff started happening. I throw her on the bed on that date night – not even five seconds later, the producers come in and de-mic you.

“I didn’t sleep with Ines that night, that didn’t happen. I didn’t sleep with anyone on the show… mark my words.

“If there was ever a time I was late for a dinner party, I f**king was there.

“I was having a drink with the producers.”

The reality star was apparently separated from the cast

Sam went on to claim that he was put in a separate hotel to his fellow cast members.

He added: “As for me leaving the show, I was done with the bulls**t. I was done with being kept away from everyone else.

“I had enough of living a double life.”
