A couple who found love on the reality TV show Married At First Sight has given fans an update on their relationship after five months together. Jordan Gayle, 26, and Erica Roberts, 25, entered the E4 matchmaking experiment as late arrivals and have since confirmed that they are still together. They recently revealed their plans for the future and discussed their desire to settle down in Manchester.
Love at first sight
Jordan and Erica connected instantly when they locked eyes at their wedding. Their rollercoaster romance played out on-screen, including dealing with an altercation from their co-star Luke Worley.
Next steps
The couple is currently splitting their time between Sheffield, where Jordan is from, and Edinburgh, where Erica works as a dance teacher. However, they are planning to call Manchester home soon. Jordan stated, "We want to get a place in Manchester as soon as we can. Probably after the fight with Luke, you know. It's going to be February time." He also expressed his desire for the next chapter in their relationship, where they have their own house and call the same place home.
Dealing with controversy
During their time on the show, Jordan was involved in a punch-up with another groom, Luke Worley. Luke was subsequently removed from the program. Erica broke her silence on the incident with a cryptic caption on social media, suggesting that she doesn't take things too seriously. Additionally, Jordan faced cheating allegations after being photographed in a taxi with a mystery blonde.
Looking ahead
Since their time on Married At First Sight, Erica has been sharing sexy swimwear and lingerie photos on Instagram. The couple's relationship update comes shortly after another MAFS pair, Shona and Matt, celebrated his milestone birthday with a loved-up display.
