Married At First Sight fans have crowned one of last night's faces "the real star of the show" – and they're not even a bride or groom. Polly Sellman's best friend Alfie quickly endeared himself to the nation as he fought her corner after she tied the knot with barber Adam, 33.
Alfie to the rescue
It was far from love at first sight for the newlyweds with Adam admitting he wasn't attracted to Polly. Alfie sought out Polly for a one-on-one chat during the reception after Adam told him she "wasn't his usual type."

Brutal insults
Adam's thoughts on Polly were not reciprocated, as he revealed she wasn't his usual type. Another groom, Caspar, also served a brutal insult to his bride Emma by telling her he didn't find her "curves" attractive.
