THE MARRIED At First Sight cast are left open-mouthed in tonight’s reunion episode when Morag reveals that husband Luke GHOSTED her after the show.
The 31-year-old vet stuns her castmates when she shows up to the event alone, with she and 36-year-old Luke enduring a bumpy relationship throughout the series.
As the other stars gasp when she joins the reunion solo this evening, Morag says aloud: “I know, big shock!”
After being quizzed on where her husband is, she replies: “The long and short of it was, the moment I left the experiment till now, Luke has never phoned me once.”
The other girls are clearly in shock, with Megan exclaiming: “Luke never phoned you?!” While Amy gasps: “I can’t believe that because he came across as the one who made all the effort.”
Morag insists: “No, that’s not the case at all.”
Watching backstage, expert Mel Schilling shares her own disbelief as she reacts: “To completely cut off all communications and ghost her… Is disrespectful,” but Paul Carrick Brunson reminds her: “This is her side of the story.”
Morag later admits: “I am nervous about tonight and hearing his side of the story compared to mine because I don’t think they’re going to add up.”
Viewers were stunned during last week’s finale that Morag and Luke decided to stay married and renew their vows, with Morag previously criticising her husband and telling him to “be more manly”.
She also said they didn’t have a “sexual connection”, having previously moaned that she was “bored” during their wedding.
The couple also clashed during their honeymoon, and the home stay part of the experiment – with Morag’s friends saying at the time that Luke wasn’t right for her.
Fans of the show will have to tune into the reunion tonight to hear Luke’s side of the story.
