MARRIED At First Sight UK star Chanita Stephenson made a heatbreaking confession after she reunited with ex-husband Jordan Emmett-Connelly on the Christmas special.
The pair tied the knot as part of this year’s series of the E4 show – but the pair had secretly split after Jordan “stopped making an effort” to see his TV wife and “cut her off”.

Months after filming for the series wrapped, the social worker, 30, admitted that she finally has “closure” after being brutally dumped on TV.
Speaking exclusively to The Celeb Report, Chanita said: “I think I got my closure from Christmas filming to be honest – that my closure.
“I’m actually feeling really good and ready to get myself back out there.
“I’m in a good place.”
The TV star explained that she’s firmly shut the door on any future reconciliations with ex Jordan, 29.
“There is no chance for us to get back together, that door is closed, I opened it a little bit before but it’s slammed, melted the key, it’s not opening again. That’s how I feel,” she continued.
The unlucky in love contestant admitted there is no bad blood between them and are in fact still in contact.
Chanita added: “I’m friends with Jordan, I chat to him quite a bit, but it’s just that.
“I’d rather us be good friends, because that’s something, he’s the one that came with me through the experience and we’ve got a lot of memories that we share, we’re just friends.”
Chanita said it can be emotional to watch herself on TV as she is forced to “relive the feelings” all over again, despite the series finishing months ago.
“I don’t think we have got over it, you do the experiment and then there’s a gap and then it airs,” she said at the Kiss Haunted House Party.
“When it airs you have to relive it and then you’re back in it and it brings up all sorts of feelings.”
She confirmed that the festive reunion will be explosive, which will see current and former stars of the hit E4 experiment enjoy an evening under one roof.
“I’m at the Christmas special, it is going to be crazy, people will definitely want to watch it,” Chanita teased.
“It’s an interesting mix, one to watch.
“Lets face it, any dinner party that MAFS is involved in will be crazy.
“I’m too classy to throw drinks on people.”
A TV insider said: “Bosses are over the moon with the success of this series so far and thought a Christmas spin-off would be the perfect way to capitalise on that.
“It’s going to be a similar format to the Love Island special in 2018, with the biggest stars from this series and previous ones staying together in a big country house.”
It’s not only the first time Married At First Sight UK have done a festive special but it’s also the first time names from different series have appeared on screen together.
Our source added: “The final cast is still being lined-up, but expect to see all your favourites coming back.
“There will be tears, romance and plenty of old wounds reopened.
“It’s going to be a real Christmas cracker that will get the festive season off to a bang.”
Married At First Sight UK aired a reunion special after the launch of the current series last month, with the stars from last year’s series updating fans on how their lives have changed since the show.
But there’s no doubt having the contestants – made up of some warring former couples – together under one roof will make for some dramatic viewing.
