MARRIED At First Sight UK’s Whitney has been branded “fame hungry” by furious fans of the show.
Whitney, 31, was called “the new villain” by viewers within minutes of the 2022 series kicking off following a nasty bust-up.

The PA came to blows with 31-year-old Jess after the dental nurse said she would sleep with her husband on the first night.
Whitney was then slammed for “disrespecting” her new hubby Duka, 31, after turning her nose up at him when they met for the first time.
In later scenes, Whitney refused to take her vows seriously and repeatedly complained about tying the knot with a stranger.
As a result, fans are convinced that Whitney, from St Albans, was only looking for fame and not love when signing up for the E4 reality series.

One raged on Twitter: “Whitney aint singing ‘I will always love you’ – I think she’s in this to be on tv and for the ‘fame’. Just sayin.”
Another wrote: “Whitney signs up to a show where you get married at first sight. Then makes a scene when she has to get married at first sight. Fame hungry comes to mind.”
A third blasted: “Whitney is so ungrateful. Looks like she only wants her 5 minutes of fame, by coming on the show. No interest at all in Duka.”
And a fourth even demanded: “Whitney’s on here for 10 mins of fame. Get rid.”
The new series of Married At First Sight UK kicked off on Monday night and Whitney was one of the first two couples to get married.
She has been paired by the experts with Duka, a 31-year-old HR coordinator from Birmingham.
“I obviously want a man who is switched on, funny, can make me laugh,” Whitney told her aunt ahead of the wedding.
“Personality is very important but that beard is more important.”
She was then shown panicking on her way to the venue and getting said: “I don’t think I’ve ever been this nervous before. What the f*** am I doing?”
Whitney was then seen walking down the aisle and looking seriously unimpressed when she saw Duka.
The couple tied the knot, even though it appeared she might not go through with it, but then compared him to a “shed”.
Speaking to the camera behind Duka’s back, she said: “I want a man that’s towering over me, like massive. Like a brickhouse.
“Compared to a house maybe he’s a shed. But there’s no patches in his beard so I’m not going to knock his beard.”
That night, Nikita told Duka she couldn’t even remember his name and would ‘have to write it down’.
