MARRIED At First Sight UK has been hit by hundreds of Ofcom complaints in just five days as fans rage over a 'bully' row. The E4 reality show came under fire following its latest episodes, which saw viewers express outrage over some controversial moments.

Complaints Breakdown

According to Ofcom, a total of 161 complaints have been lodged, with viewers particularly upset over two separate storylines. The show received 71 complaints on 17th October, focused on alleged bullying behavior by cast members Holly Ditchfield and Polly Sellman towards fellow participant Hannah Norburn. Another 91 complaints were logged on 21 October 2024, concerning comments made by Richelle Cade to her husband Orson Burse during the commitment ceremony. Viewers also raised concerns about further alleged bullying by other participants.

Richelle faced backlash for her comments to Orson during the Commitment Ceremony. She criticized him for his actions with another participant, leading viewers to condemn her behavior as "bullying" and "vile." Orson explained his perspective, while Richelle expressed her disappointment in him, calling for him to leave the process.

In another incident, Polly faced backlash for a perceived threat towards a fellow bride, Hannah. The tense exchange between them led to accusations and a heated confrontation on the show.
