MARRIED at First Sight UK’s Whitney Hughes has told The Celeb Report of the horrific trolling and death threats she’s received since finding fame on the show.
The PA from St Albans agreed to marry a stranger in the reality TV experiment and refused to pretend that it wasn’t a wacky thing to do.

Whitney, 31, faced backlash for her behaviour on her wedding day
While other brides and grooms were fawning over their matches Whitney questioned herself and the process.
She admitted to the cameras, as she prepared to walk down the aisle: “I’m in between maybe saying the vows, or maybe just like run.
“This is the worst thing I’ve ever done in my f**king life.”
Viewers were gripped when Whitney delivered her vows with an eye roll and a comment about not getting the groom she’d ordered, which prompted an outcry on Twitter over her behaviour.

They jumped to the conclusion she was “the worst bride ever” and Whitney even felt the heat from her fellow Married at First Sight UK co-stars.
She discussed the backlash and growing pile of horrible comments taking over her DMs in an exclusive interview with The Celeb Report.
“I’ve got a really good support network around me thankfully. I mean my friends and family have been amazing, but of course the whole social media, the comments, the DMs, it’s a lot. It’s a lot to process,” she said.
“People need to think about how their actions and words might affect others. Because it’s kind of unnecessary going into someone’s DMs and saying the things I’ve been sent.”
She added about getting death threats: “Yeah. I’ve had a lot of intense messages and they’re from people much older than me and I find it quite bizarre to be honest.
“I’m trying to stay positive.”
Whitney was raised single handedly by her mum. And, spoiler alert, she stayed with Duka long enough to find out that “spending 24/7 with a man was tricky.”
“I had never lived with a guy before so that was a massive adjustment, having to live with someone. And opening up my heart and being vulnerable was really tough for me.
“I wasn’t that girl who grew up dreaming of her wedding day and finding ‘the one’. So I knew I’d have to be forced into it. I wouldn’t be able to just pop to Tescos and find the love of my life.
Viewers will have to wait and see how their marriage pans out with five more weeks to go of the hit E4 series.
Whitney has promised she will deliver one of the biggest transformations of the show.
“The experts were great. I go on a massive journey,” she said.
“The woman that went in there is not the woman that I’ve come out as at all. The experts played a big part in that.”
Whitney, 31, has been the most talked about bride of this series so far
