April, 32, has previously opened up about how she has been viciously trolled after a cheating scandal erupted on Married At First Sight UK.

The wedding dress designer – who tied the knot with George Roberts earlier this month – revealed she’d shared a jovial kiss with a woman in a hot tub while they honeymooned together.

Fans of the E4 series hit out against the beauty queen on social media – as George, 40, was seen close to tears after hearing the news.

Despite admitting she was “scared to leave home” after the backlash, April – who is an ambassador for anti-bullying charity Bullies Out – has now hit back in an exclusive chat with the Sun Online.

Appearing at the debut performance of the United Ukrainian Ballet’s performance of Giselle at London’s Coliseum, she clapped back that the trolls “are the ones with the real issues”.

“I don’t condone bullying in any shape or form – so I’ll keep doing everything I can to stand up against bullying,” April explained.

“If anyone wants to troll me, I know that I’m loved. I feel sorry for them as I guess they are the ones with the real issues.”

She went on: “People are mean – some people are really mean – but you know what, it’s OK. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

“You just have to remember who you are, and remember that the people that love you know who you are and stay focused.”

Despite facing hateful backlash, April has insisted that her Married At First Sight experience hasn’t put her off taking part in future reality TV shows.

“It hasn’t necessarily put me off. I would never say no, but I’m not sure I would say yes,” she explained.

“I’ve come out of this with not only learning a lot about myself but amazing friendships that will last a life-time.

“But I’m not ready [for another reality show] yet, at the moment I’m just trying to get myself through this one.”

Elsewhere, she opened up about being scared to leave the house following hateful comments, as she struggled “mentally”.

“It’s been really hard to deal with, I didn’t expect so much hate – it put me in a place where I never thought I’d see myself,” she explained.
