MARRIED At First Sight’s Ines Basic has slammed “f***boy” Sam, revealing he promised they’d be together after the show only to ghost her.
After their affair was discovered by producers, the 30-year-old said the couple wanted to leave the show to explore their new relationship.
Ines, who has proved unpopular with many viewers, filmed the show in 2018 but it is only now airing on British TV, nightly on E4.
The reality star has admitted she was left devastated after she and Sam Bell, 28, forged a plan to start a new life together but he then ghosted her and they never spoke again.
Speaking to MailOnline, Ines said: “Off camera he was telling me ‘let’s leave the show and make this work on our terms’.
“He said it was getting too dramatic and he wanted to be with me and we could move cities and make it work. I believed him.”
She went on: “The only way out of the show was for him to reject me and say you’re not interested in a relationship with me because there was no way they [producers] would let us leave. That’s what happened.”
Upon leaving the show Ines says she thought she would hear from Sam to pick up their relationship but he never did.
“I was expecting a phone call from him… but nothing,” she admitted. “I didn’t hear from him. I didn’t call him and a few months went by and I still didn’t call him.
“He is the ultimate f*** boy, major. Some of my friends know people that had been with him and they say he is an a***hole.”
MAFS viewers were left outraged as they watched the pair cheat on their partners and spend the night together in a Gold Coast hotel room.
Discussing their illicit encounter, Sam has since revealed the alleged “affair” was completely fake.
In fact, the 28-year-old Aussie claims the romance was staged by producers after they forced him into acting a certain way.
Taking to his Instagram Story, Sam claimed: “Thank you to all you guys in the UK enjoying the show because I’m about to ruin it for you.
“So the experts don’t pick the couples, the producers do. They have a list of people they have to find and approach them on Instagram and ask you to go on the show.
“I actually did apply to go on the show, that’s the funny part. But I know Elizabeth didn’t apply.”
Discussing the Ines scenes, Sam said: “They pulled me into a dark room and asked me to do the Ines scenes – they set that up. They made Ines DM me on the phone, that was all staged.
“I did what I was asked to do with all of that. I didn’t really care what it looked like. I was in the zone. I’ve acted before in TV commercials and it was a job for me.
“I got paid to do this by the way. I got paid to do it this, just like everyone else.”
Ines has also revealed she was severely depressed during the show and tried to kill herself at one point.
She told the Mail: “I attempted suicide during filming so I got PTSD from it. It really f***ed me up and I had to keep filming and I was like oh my God.”
The star added that her friend died, her dad and mum split up and she came under fire for secretly hooking up with Sam Ball in an ‘affair’ he claims was completely staged.
She went on: “I lost all my body weight. I had to be carried from scene to scene I was so weak.”
