The Emmerdale favourite played by Louise Jameson keeps a secret from her loved ones next week and unwillingly triggers a fight.
Mary Goskirk is trying to move on from her ordeal with Faye
But she soon drives a wedge between two good pals in the village
How will she handle the situation?
Faye Helders left a traumatised Mary to pick up the pieces after scamming her for money and leaking a nude photo of her throughout the ITV village.
However, Mary soon surprised her daughter Rhona (Zoe Henry) and son-in-law Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) by telling them she was going out on a date.
Marlon, on the other hand, is also making progress following his stroke as he progressively takes the wheel again.
Coming up next week, Marlon is excited to be back in a car but he is also exceedingly nervous.
Meanwhile, Mary is lying to the family that she’s back on the dating scene when in reality she’s not confident enough.
When Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) discovers Mary, sobbing in a field after having pretended to go on a date, he’s delayed to meet his best friend Marlon.
The argument that ensues, due to Marlon having felt spurned by his pal, nearly puts pay to their close friendship.
Before long Marlon’s wife Rhona is feeling the weight of trying to support her husband Marlon, his friend Paddy and Mary.
Finally snapping, she tells them that they’ll all have to face their fears together the following day.
Later on, Mary, Marlon and Paddy nervously await their “fear-facing day” with Rhona in charge.
When Rhona reveals what she’s organised for each of them, the group support each other and head off in trepidation.
But will Rhona’s tough love approach work to helping Mary, Marlon and Paddy face up to what is daunting them?
