FANS of The Masked Dancer have “figured out” that Mark Wright is The Zip after the character dropped three major clues.
Last night’s show saw the dancing character give away further hints, including about living in America, DJ’ing and visiting the jungle.
Clued-up viewers have put the clues together and suggested it could be Mark, 34, as he used to live and work in the States.
Not only this, but the former The Only Way Is Essex star presents a breakfast show on Heart radio, and took part in ITV show I’m A Celebrity.
Taking to Twitter, fans shared their theories about radio host Mark, linking him to pink-haired character The Zip.
“I think The Zip is Mark Wright,” one wrote, as another concluded after the episode: “The Zip is Mark Wright?”
Many names have been thrown into the hat for The Zip, including radio DJ Marvin Humes, magician Stephen Mulhern, Jordan Banjo, Louise Redknapp and Dita Von Teese.
Yesterday, fans were convinced that Zip is a member of an iconic 90s boyband after showing off some incredible moves.
The three clues led many viewers to become convinced that he is Take That star Howard Donald, 53.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “The way that zip stands with the head tipped to the side is a Howard thing. Can’t hide it from a Take That fan.”
Another added: “Zip must be Howard Donals. Too many clues lead to that conclusion. And the northern accent!”
Other agreed with one sharing a clip from a Take That tour and writing: “The elephant clue for Zip Take That Present: The Circus Live – The Garden.”
Many fans think they have already cracked who Zip is – JLS member Marvin Humes – thanks to clues that describe him as “the life and soul of the party”.
The Masked Dancer will return at 7:30pm tonight on ITV.
