Tamzin Outhwaite was unmasked as the Scarecrow in last night’s Masked Dancer finale

This Morning star Holly, 40, was a guest judge and was left absolutely stunned when her husband Dan Baldwin’s cousin was unmasked.

But the surprise was even sweeter for Tamzin’s and Holly’s kids, who had no idea that TWO of their family members had been a huge part of the epic series.

Tamzin revealed: “It was my cousin’s birthday so the kids were all together, and then I watched it with my family in the evening and it was the side of the family that Holly and her husband Dan (Baldwin) are on, so the Italian side. So I didn’t know how much anyone knew.

“People had started trying to guess … My family, half of them thought I was the frog, and half of them didn’t know at all!

Tamzin screamed when the panel finally discovered her identity on the ITV series

Holly was absolutely stunned to see her husband’s cousin beneath the mask

“And they all thought we were watching (the show) to see Holly on the panel, so yeah it was quite a moment.”

Tamzin also revealed the extreme lengths she went to keeping Scarecrow’s identity secret.

She shared: “It’s a very slickly run operation backstage, so you never meet anyone else. But even when we had to rehearse together, I was like a proper detective, looking around going: ‘who’s that small and is American? I think I know who that is…'”

Despite her efforts to identify her co-stars, Tamzin said she hadn’t realised another pal, Zoe Ball, was in fact Llama.

She said: “I was definitely vibing off of Llama backstage and I was thinking, ‘I bet I know Llama’ because Llama had a comedy vibe about her. I knew it was a woman and someone who had a great sense of humour.

“I didn’t really get any right. Zoe was the closest I came and that was on the last show – and that was me getting a hint from one of the other judges!”

Tamzin’s Masked Dancer role was a reality TV first for the popular actress, but now she says she’s hooked and would love to return as a guest judge.

The star admitted: “I’d love to do that. That would be the ultimate to go on and guest judge.”

She continued: “On the panel you’re there to be a detective and I’ve always been a bit of a Miss Marple about things. That was actually my code name (on the show).

“I was Miss Marple to the drivers and Scarecrow to everyone else in the building.”

Louis Smith won the first ever Masked Dancer after being unveiled as Carwash.

Bonnie Langford was runner-up as Squirrel and Howard Donald came in third as Zip.

Last night’s semi-final saw Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood unmasked as Knickerbocker Glory and Kelly Brook as Frog.

The judging panel this series has consisted of Jonathan Ross, Oti Mabuse, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan.

There have also been a number of guest judges; David Walliams, John Bishop and Holly.
