THE MASKED Singer fans are convinced they've worked out who is behind Kingfisher – weeks before the new series kicks off. It comes as ITV launched a new trailer that teased some of the costumes viewers can expect in the new year.

Some think EastEnders actor Shane Richie is behind the mask after spotting a clue. The TV star plays Alfie Moon on the BBC One soap.

New Characters Revealed

Some of the characters include a pufferfish, a toad, a crab, a bush, a bowl of spaghetti, and a set of chattering teeth. Plus, a unicorn dressed as a knight, a frog in a cupcake, and a brightly colored kingfisher bird also feature.

Exciting Lineup of Judges

Joel Dommett will return as host, while Love Island presenter Maya Jama steps in to replace Rita Ora. Line of Duty star Vicky McClure is also set to become a new guest judge this series.

Vicky McClure's Role

Vicky McClure, known for her serious roles in dramas, is a big fan of The Masked Singer. She will join regular judges Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan, and Maya in trying to uncover who is behind the wacky costumes.

In the last series, faces like Lorraine Kelly and Sir Lenny Henry covered for Rita Ora when filming dates clashed. ITV decided to keep a fifth chair to include various household names and add different expertise to the panel.
