THE Masked Singer sees TV fans turn detectives as they try to figure out the identity of the celebrities beneath the costumes.
But even eagle-eyed viewers could struggle to guess the identity of this star, who looks unrecognisable in a throwback snap from his early career.
Taking to Instagram, the Masked Singer favourite stunned fans by looking completely different from how he does now.
Show host Joel Dommett took to his Instagram to reveal the snap, celebrating working in stand-up comedy for 15 years on Thursday.
In the snap, he could be seen in his 20s, rocking a long sweeping hair cut and noticeably darker locks, as well as baggy jeans and a hooded jacket.
Staring up towards the camera, Joel, 36, showed off his youthful good looks as he sat on the floor for the snap.
He followed up with a series of snaps from his early days in comedy, performing on stage and at private events.
Following his career over the years, Joel also shared snapshots from his time on The Masked Singer and Comedians of the World.

“Today I have been doing stand-up comedy for 15 years,” Joel captioned the series of photographs. “This is my evolution.
“Basically at one point I had not enough beard, and at another point I had way too much beard.”
Earlier this month, Joel was forced to pull out of Comic Relief after catching Covid-19, seeing him watch the show from home.
Joel posted on Instagram: “Super annoyed to report that I have the vid. This unfortunately means I have to pull out of hosting @comicrelief.
“My incredible replacement is the better looking, more talented @vernonkay who is ace.”
He added: “I’ll be watching from home donating loads of money like everyone else!”
Joel was due to host Comic Relief alongside Lenny Henry, Paddy McGuinness, Alesha Dixon, David Tennant and Zoe Ball.
Many of Joel’s celebrity friends replied to him offering their commiserations that he has had to pull out of this year’s Comic Relief.
Radio 2 star Zoe, 51, replied to him in rhyme writing: ‘Boo no you! Hooray for Kay.”
Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison added: “I love you. Hope you feel better soon.”
Joel first found fame on-screen in 2010 after appearing as D.C. Sweeney in the hit E4 show Skins, but he was already a touring comedian at the time.
He has devoted most of his life to comedy and performed his first gig at 19.
Joel found love with stunning model Hannah Cooper after she drunkenly slid into his DMs in 2016 with nothing more than an emoji.
