MICA Paris has called for EastEnders bosses to “come and get me” as she’s pushed for her evil character Ellie Nixon to make a return.
The former Not What To Wear host, 51, starred in the popular BBC One soap earlier this year as Raymond Dawkin’s adoptive grandmother.
The evil crook made her last appearance back in October after Raymond’s real dad Phil Mitchell managed to get his own way and make her hand over his son.
Her character’s shock departure has room for her to return to the Square, considering she definitely seems the type to get her own back on someone who has done her wrong.
During her appearance on ITV breakfast show Lorraine yesterday morning, the star got talking about her stint on the soap and admitted she would love to go back one day.
Despite being very busy with her new album Gospel, host Lorraine couldn’t help but wonder if she plans to keep to make a return any time soon.
The actress said: “Listen, Lorraine how long have I known you? When that phone rings girlfriend I am coming straight for you.
“It hasn’t rung yet.”
Lorraine went on to say that she’s sure that the show’s bosses will pick up the phone soon considering there is so much more to explore between her character.
Mica added: “I think so she’s hardcore, I was terrified of her myself.”
Mica’s on-screen alter ego Ellie was looking after Phil and Denise Fox’s real son Raymond.
She made her first appearance back in September at Walford General Hospital when her son and grandson were involved in a car crash.
After Phil found out that an evil gangster was looking after his child, he enlisted help from policeman Callum Highway to drive her out of Walford and get his son back where he belongs.
But Ellie decided she wasn’t going to make it easy for Phil and demanded £250k in exchange for the tot.
Four of the crook’s properties were about to be raided by the police and Phil persuaded Ellie that drugs had been planted in one of them – meaning that she’s lose custody of Raymond.
In a furious showdown, Phil then threatened to call the police on her if she didn’t hand his son over.
She soon realised there was no way of her winning the battle and dropped Raymond off at Denise Fox’s house and was never seen again.
But there’s no denying that she the gangster could return to the Square to get revenge?
Mica, who has released several albums including So Good in 1988, Contribution in 1990, Whisper a Prayer in 1993) and Soul Classics in 2005, enjoyed taking on the role of Ellie on the show.
Speaking about joining the soap at the time, Mica said: “I am absolutely over the moon to be in EastEnders.
“I have been a fan since its first episode with Susan Tully being my favourite.
“My character the formidable Ellie Nixon, is a new frontier for me as an actress – a lot of folks will see me as never before.”
