MICHAEL Owen has been spotted jetting off on holiday BEFORE meeting his daughter’s boyfriend Luca Bish.
The former footballing star posed for a snap as he enjoyed some sunshine – despite his daughter returning from the Love Island villa last week with beau Luca, 23.

Love Island star Gemma, 19, finally headed home after two months away in the ITV2 dating show villa last week alongside her boyfriend.
The couple were greeted at the airport by some of their family – but Gemma’s famous dad was noticeably missing from the snaps.
Fans noted that the former England player had made a pass already on meeting Luca, after not visiting the villa alongside Gemma’s mum.
Now, it appears Michael, 42, has made ANOTHER pass at meeting his daughter’s boyfriend, as he jetted off on holiday before seeing him.
“A few days in the sun,” he captioned the snap as he smiled sitting at a restaurant in the sunshine, looking casual in a black t-shirt.
Looking tanned, Michael crossed his arms and accessorised with a pair of dark sunglasses, hanging from the neck of his shirt.
Meanwhile, Luca took to his stories to show a snap of his girlfriend in bed, smiling wide for the camera in an oversized hoodie.
“Morning view,” the fishmonger captioned the Instagram stories, as Gemma sat in front of a huge silver headboard.
It comes after Love Island fans claimed that they have spotted a sign that Michael Owen doesn’t approve of Luca Bish.
Eagle-eyed social media users noticed how the former football star STILL doesn’t follow his daughter Gemma’s boyfriend on Instagram after their exit from the villa together.
The ex Liverpool player took to his Instagram grid to post a new snap, showing him smiling in a promotional advert.
But instead of fans flooded the comments section to ask Michael as to why he still hadn’t followed Luca back on Instagram – as he still failed to show on his ‘following’ list.
“Don’t even acknowledge Luca,” one Love Island fan wrote as they signalled to others to look, as a second chimed in: “Not a fan?”
It comes after fans felt Michael was dropping a HUGE hint he doesn’t approve of Luca – as he didn’t show up at the airport last week.
Islander Gemma was greeted by her mum Louise and her siblings as she arrived at the airport, but there was no sign of Michael.
