Michelle Keegan confirms Brassic series 3 release date – and reveals season 4 starts shooting in August

MICHELLE Keegan has let slip when Brassic season three will be revealed – and told how she’ll be filming the next instalment this summer.

The Manchester-born actress, 34, confessed she was “nervous” ahead of her Instagram Live chat about her new collaboration with Spectrum Collections, a vegan and cruelty-free make-up brush brand.

Yet while she was giving the lowdown on the four stunning sets, which she modelled earlier this month, one fan couldn’t resist a TV spoiler.

They asked: “When does Brassic s3 come out?”

Michelle, who was munching a tapas takeaway with her pal and , said in reply: “Beginning of October.”

She then added: “But we start filming for season four in August as well.”

Emily then replied: “I feel like it left on a real cliffhanger too, what did she say?”

Adding to the teasing, former Coronation Street star Michelle said: “What did Erin whisper?” as she gave a hint of what was to come in the plotline.

This month, The Celeb Report exclusively revealed how the Very brand ambassador had put pen to paper in a new deal for Brassic’s season four.

The Sky comedy – which follows a group of friends as they debate leaving their forgotten northern town for a fresh start away from crime – has been a huge hit for the channel.

And The Celeb Report can exclusively reveal Michelle is keen to stick with the show as she has signed up for a fourth series.

An insider told us: “Michelle loves the show and filming as Erin – she jumped at the chance to play her again.”

Sky has been contacted for comment.

Michelle plays Erin Croft, who is Vinnie’s (Misfit’s Joe Gilgun) girlfriend in the show.

The plot centres around Vinnie and his pals, dealing with crime, gangsters and friendship, inspired by Joe’s own upbringing in Chorley.

Season two ended on a cliffhanger, leaving fans incredibly anxious for the third instalment.

Season two ends with Vinnie and his gang trying to steal a wedding, but things don’t go as planned.

As Vinnie is taken away by police he declares his feelings for Erin, and tells her: “I know it’s wrong, but you’re the first thing in the morning, and you’re the last thing at night.”

Before he’s taken away Erin whispers something in his ear.

When the coronavirus pandemic hit last year, fans were left wondering if a third season would ever go ahead as production was put on hold.

However things were up and running again in October last year.
