Million Pound Pawn guest fights back tears as he learns life-changing truth behind Rolex collection

ONE guest was left absolutely speechless after appearing on Million Pound Pawn.

During Thursday night’s episode, fans watched as experts valued a range of items brought in by guests.

Stuart valued the huge collection

They included the likes of an original painting by the late David Bowie, and even a diamond ring brought from a shopping channel.

However, it was a guest named Mark who really caught the attention of viewers.

Mark brought in his huge collection of luxury Rolex watches, and admitted he’d decided to invest in them as his bank account interest wasn’t doing anything.

The technology manager met up with experts Cathy and Stuart, and explained how he’d started re-evaluating his life following an accident.

Mark’s impressive collection wowed the experts, as he owned some of the most highly sought after watches, such as the Sea-Dweller and the Daytona.

When asked why he wanted to sell the watches, he said: “I had quite a nasty car crash a couple of months ago and I am still suffering quite a bit with some broken bones.

“It split my chest open and my ribs, I am lucky to be here really and I had a couple of family members pass away, so it made me re-evaluate my situation.”

He continued: “It made me think about material things… my family and I haven’t seen my sister for 10 years, she’s in America.”

Stuart explained how the value of Rolex watches has exploded since the pandemic, with prices surging.

He asked Mark: “Have you got any idea of what you think they are worth?”, who admitted he didn’t keep track of their worth, as it would’ve driven him mad.

Stuart told Mark: “You’ve actually put about £260,000 in over the years.

“So, we have done the math and we’re more than happy to give you £525,000 for them.”

The staggering number left Mark utterly speechless, and he asked Stuart to repeat the figure as he was in disbelief.

He exclaimed: “I don’t know what to say about that, I didn’t expect them to go up by that much.”

He looked emotional on the show as he admitted: “It’s going to take a while to sink in. I think I need a drink.”

The valuation had the show’s viewers discussing on Twitter.

One wrote: “£525,000. I’d be buzzing my t**s off.”

Another said: “It’s all about opportunity and means but the guy just there on #millionpoundpawn getting half a mil for his collections of Rolex?”

As another tweeted: “Whoa??!!! £525k???”

Million Pound Pawn returns on Thursday at 9pm on ITV.
