MOLLY-MAE Hague has been whisked off to New York by boyfriend Tommy Fury but fans think he’s got only one thing in mind – proposing.
Many reckon he booked the jet-set holiday, which saw them fly out in First Class yesterday, so he could get down on one knee.
The couples’ legions of fans predicted it with one tweeting simply: “Tommy will propose to Molly-mae in New York.”
I’m absolutely convinced Tommy is going to propose to Molly-Mae in NYC as soon as NYE strikes. You saw it here first.”
Another said dramatically: “If tommy fury doesn’t propose to molly-mae in new york then i will no longer believe in love x.”
Their Love Island pal Maura Higgins fuelled the rumours by posting a suggestive emoji telling the pair: “Have the best time you guys 
.”
The city has long been the centre of New Year’s Eve celebration in America, with Tommy and Molly, both 22, seen in Times Square, where many festivities take place.
He surprised his girlfriend, who he met on Love Island in 2019, with the news they were going away, casually mentioning it on a walk.
She said: “We were on our usual walk yesterday and he told me out of nowhere that I needed to pack my case because he was taking me to New York.”
Molly-Mae added: “Still in shock. I’m so lucky.”
And just in case she does need to post a picture with a diamond ring on her finger, the star lets fans know her nails are ready.
She shared a picture of them writing: “Fresh” before they got on their Virgin Atlantic flight from Manchester.
If Tommy does get down on one knee, he’s had a bit of practice in this department – pulling off a proposal-style question on Love Island.
In 2019, he set up an engagement-style scenario involving her toy elephant Ellie Bellie telling her: “You know how much you mean to me and you know that you’re the only girl for me.
“I only want to be with you. So therefore I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?”
Overwhelmed, she replied: “Yeah, I do yeah. Oh my God I can’t believe that.”
