Molly Mae Hague boasted about ‘napping from 2pm to 7pm’ before telling fans ‘we all have the same 24 hours in a day’

MOLLY-MAE Hague boasted about “napping from 2pm to 7pm” before telling fans “we all have the same 24 hours in a day”.

The Love Island star, 22, was recently slammed over comments she made about her success on the The Diary Of A CEO podcast.

Molly-Mae shared with fans that she had napped for five hours in the day before before telling fans “we all have the same 24 hours in a day”

It comes after Molly made some “tone deaf” comments about her success in a recent podcast

Molly, who shot to fame on the fifth season of the ITV2 dating show back 2019, came under fire over comments she made about poverty during her chat with host Steven Bartlett.

She said: “You’re given one life and it’s down to you what you do with it. You can literally go in any direction.

“When I’ve spoken about that in the past I have been slammed a little bit, with people saying ‘it’s easy for you to say that because you’ve not grown up in poverty, so for you to sit there and say we all have the same 24 hours in a day is not correct.’

“But, technically, what I’m saying is correct. We do,” the TV personality continued.

“So I understand that we all have different backgrounds and we’re all raised in different ways and we do have different financial situations, but I do think if you want something enough, you can achieve it.

“It just depends to what lengths you want to go to get where you want to be in the future. And I’ll go to any lengths.

“I’ve worked my absolute a**e off to get where I am now,” she concluded.

Molly’s comments infuriated fans and some said that they were “tone deaf” as she implied to make money people just need to work harder, completely ignoring social inequality.

And now fans have have dug up an old tweet from 2018, where she confessed that she took a long daytime snooze.

The reality star said on the social media platform: “When you plan to have a really good nd productive day but end up napping from 2-7,” and a clapping hands emoji.

Four days after the controversial comments went viral, Molly returned to social media to issue an apology.

Molly told her 6.2m followers yesterday: “I wanted to come back on online today as normal but I feel like before I do I just wanted to say this…

“When I say or post anything online, it is never with malice or ill intent.

“I completely appreciate that things can affect different people in different ways however I just want to stress that I would never intend to hurt or upset anyone by anything that I say or do.

“I apologise to the people that have been affected negatively or misunderstood the meaning of what I said in the podcast.

“The intentions of the podcast were only ever to tell my story and inspire from my own experience.

“Love to you all, always x.”

The TV star, who has now lost over 40,000 Instagram followers, was seen out and about for the first time since sparking outrage with the remarks.

She looked in high spirits as she went to get her hair done in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
