MOLLY Marsh is wowing the Love Island lads in a string of jaw dropping bikinis, but very nearly made her telly debut wearing something a lot more sensible.
The panto performer’s mum has revealed that before joining the ITV2 dating show she was down to the final stages for a role in a Channel 4 drama set in a school.

Janet Marsh has told how Molly, 21, was down to the “final stage” of bagging a part on Ackley Bridge.
The award-winning comedy is set in a fictional Yorkshire mill town, in an Academy formed by the merger of an all-white and an all-Asian school.
Janet, who has herself appeared on Coronation Street, told The Celeb Report: “Molly would love to be on a soap. She did an audition recently for Ackley Bridge and was at the final stages.
“And when she was younger she did a voice-over for a BBC learning platform.”
Molly is an experienced performer, particularly on the stage.
She has played a mermaid and fairy in pantomime and was understudy for EastEnders star Rita Simons as the Evil Queen.
Her impressive acting CV has seen viewers branded Molly a “producer plant”.
They have pointed to the fact Molly had already visited the villa twice as an influencer.
Janet added: “When she went to the villa before that was as her job, there was no other reason, it was just her job, doing what she’d been asked to do.
“So no. She’s being totally herself, what you see is what you get.”
ITV has a robust care package for families and friends of Islanders, including the pause of all social media posts to try to protect loved ones from trolls.
Janet said: “There’s lots of positivity so it’s quite good so far. If there is going to be any negativity then you know it’s just one of those things.
“Because we know what Molly is going in to, I think we know what to expect.
“Not everybody loves it, there might be people who don’t like it but everyone’s allowed their own opinion and we just take it on the chin.”
