BBC MORNING Live has been pulled from TV schedules over the summer.
The programme’s main presenter made a speech as the publicly funded corporation’s magazine programme goes off-air.

Gethin Jones, 45, presents the morning BBC show alongside a rotation of co-hosts.
In recent weeks this has included former Strictly Come Dancing and Blue Peter star Helen Skelton, 40.
He’s also previously sat alongside the likes of Former Corrie star Kym Marsh, 47, and Sara Cox, 48 on Morning Live.
However the presenter took to the airwaves for Friday’s edition (4th August) where he made a surprising announcement at the end of the show.
The broadcaster waved goodbye to viewers for a number of weeks, however he did confirm that the show will return.
Although he prepared BBC One viewers for an absence from screen, he did say that it will be back just before the beginning of September.
He explained: “That is for today and we are taking a break for a few weeks but we will be back on Monday the 28th of August.
“Thank you so much for watching, have a lovely summer, we will see you soon, bye for now.”
This comes after Kimberley Walsh previously confirmed that she is taking a break from the popular BBC programme.
The Girls Aloud popstar, 41, will be enjoying a month away from the show for summer before making a return in September.
Kimberley confirmed the news on Instagram after presenting her final show for a few weeks alongside co-host Gethin Jones.
