Claire has since admitted that she’s shaved her head after losing most of her hair in 24 hours, while undergoing chemotherapy.

But the mum-of-four says she’s facing it head on and counts her blessings saying: “I will see my grandchildren even though she didn’t see hers.”

The 50-year-old also admitted that she is now totally bald – after trimming what’s left of her hair with the dog clippers.

“I am actually completely bald, although most of it falls out,” she said.

“And my son shaved it completely a few nights ago, so now it’s totally smooth and weird, and it’s very cold at night.”

“It literally comes out in handfuls and then you get little bits left and that’s worse, cos then you’ve got like tiny bits.

“So then I clipped it with the dog clippers which was a little bit longer, about a cm, and then I got a tool, and now it’s completely smooth.”

Property Ladder star Sarah, who revealed her diagnosis in a newspaper interview, faces a mastectomy and radiotherapy.

She was told she had an 80 per cent chance of beating the disease – after being diagnosed after she found a lump.

Describing the moment she found out about her diagnosis, the star previously shared: “The nurse was so sweet and they were really nice to me.

“But I thought, ‘You don’t understand. I’ve waited 40 years to hear those words.’

“I knew I was going to hear them one day.”

Sarah – who lives in Somerset and is mum to Billy, 18, Charlie, 16, Rafferty, 14, and 12-year-old Laurie – was inundated with messages of support after announcing her diagnosis.
