MYLEENE Klass says Sir Elton John sent her flowers after he called her pop group Hear’Say the ugliest band in the world.
The singer and musician, 45, opens up about her early career struggles in tonight’s episode of I’m A Celebrity.

She tells campmates the Rocket Man’s jibe in 2001 was just one of a series of blows, including being told to lose weight when she joined the cast of musical Miss Saigon.
Mum-of-three Myleene says: “I got into the band and the same thing happened again, people saying, ‘You guys are the fattest band in pop’.
“I even got sent some flowers from Elton John who said we were the ugliest band in pop.
“I got sent flowers! Cos he realised, ‘Yeah, maybe I shouldn’t have said that’.”
She also explains in the show’s Bush Telegraph that bosses even suggested she went by her middle name – Angela – instead of her “hard to pronounce” Filipino moniker.
Myleene adds: “It’s really weird when I tell those stories because they almost seem like they are an entire era away but actually it was only a few years ago.”
