Naga Munchetty Strikes Back
BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty playfully banned her co-star from sitting beside her on the iconic red sofa after he made a teasing comment about her fashion choices. During a segment on the show, Naga and Charlie Stayt were joined by senior broadcast journalist Peter Ruddick to discuss the maintenance of jeans.
Jeans Maintenance Tips
Peter Ruddick advised the hosts that to keep their jeans in optimal condition, they should avoid washing them for the first six months. Naga responded with a touch of humor, stating that she would be fine with that as long as the jeans didn't develop a mind of their own and walk to the washing machine. Peter cheekily replied that he might not sit next to her on the sofa again, to which Naga playfully declared that he wouldn't be invited to sit next to her at all.
A Light-Hearted Moment
The exchange between Naga, Charlie, and Peter brought laughter to the set as they continued with the rest of the show. This follows a previous episode where guest Nadine Dorries revealed that former Prime Minister Boris Johnson had asked her not to speak to Charlie during her appearance on the show.
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays at 6am on BBC One.
