Naga Munchetty disappears from BBC Breakfast 20 minutes into show – forcing Charlie Stayt to host alone

BBC BREAKFAST presenter Naga Munchetty disappeared during this morning’s show – leaving her co-host to present alone.

The broadcaster and journalist usually presents the flagship programme alongside Charlie Stayt.

He explained to viewers at home why Naga had suddenly disappeared

However, Charlie, 60 told viewers that Naga was struggling to speak and had to leave the red sofa.

Just 20 minutes into the show, he told viewers: “You may have noticed this morning that Naga has just stepped away from the sofa.

“This morning she has a slight struggle in her voice.”

However, Naga was unable to rejoin the show and Charlie continued to present alone.

Fans of the Beeb show had noticed the 47-year-old journalist was struggling before she left the studio.
