Where's Naga?

Viewers were left wondering where Naga Munchetty was as Charlie Stayt took the helm on today's edition of BBC Breakfast. The dynamic duo usually take over the sofa from Jon Kay and Sally Nugent every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, but Munchetty, 48, was nowhere to be seen.

New face on the sofa

Stepping in for Munchetty was the more junior BBC Royal Correspondent Sarah Campbell. Joining Stayt on the BBC Breakfast sofa, Campbell looked radiant in a stunning flower print summer dress, complete with her now-famous bob hairdo.

Viewers react

Viewers were quick to react on social media, with one fan even creating an album of their own screenshots. Another tweeted, "Sarah. Lovely surprise to see you on the sofa this morning with a huge smile & looking so wonderfully colourful in that amazing dress."

They added, "I know bringing us the news is a tough job but like all at the BBC, you are both professional & human #BBCBreakfast."

Where else is Naga?

In addition to being absent from BBC Breakfast, Munchetty was also missing from her BBC Radio 2 show on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. The presenter, who previously revealed that she is living with adenomyosis, a condition that affects the tissues lining the womb, was replaced by Adrian Chiles on both days.

People with adenomyosis experience immense pain as the endometrial tissue grows into the muscular wall of the womb, rather than just lining the uterus.
