However the tensions between the presenting pair appeared high when Charlie voted for his co-star to leave the game leaving Naga visibly stunned.

In one round, Naga’s performance was less than impressive leading her fellow players to call for her to be eliminated from the game with co-star Charlie happily joining in.

As the studio went tense, Naga flashed an unimpressed glance at Charlie before she told host Romesh how Charlie had made things very awkward between them now, following his decision as she muttered under her breath.

Fellow contestant Fern Britton looked on amid the uncomfortable atmosphere.

In the round both Naga and former breakfast television star Mr Motivator each got an incorrect answer however Charlie forgot this and claimed he voted her off because she was the ‘only’ player to miss an answer.

After her co-star chose to eliminate her, Naga pleaded:  “It was a difficult round.”

Naga looked around the room as she avoided direct eye contact with Charlie as Mr Motivator couldn’t help but laugh amid the tension between the two.

Addressing the frosty atmosphere between the two, host Romesh admitted:  “I’m just going to move on because it is super awks.”

Having received the most votes from her fellow players, Naga exited the game and admitted afterwards she would be seeking revenge on her co-star after the ‘betrayal’ from behind her back.

As she strutted across the studio a stony-faced Naga refused to look at Charlie but exclaimed: “Revenge is a dish best served cold.”

Having been forced to walk out, Naga told the camera in an interview that she had been betrayed Charlie and added that her elimination from the game was not ‘fair’ as he was supposed to have her back.

She said: “No one likes being voted off. If it’s fair, that’s fine.

“If it’s betrayal from people who you are supposed to think have your back, it’s a different matter.”
