NAGA Munchetty today slammed one of her BBC Breakfast co-stars in an awkward on air moment.
The news anchor, 47, is known for her cheeky on-air quips, and today was no different.

It came during Simon King’s waether forecast
This morning Naga was hosting her usual slot alongside Charlie Stayt, 61.
But she was left unimpressed when weather presenter Simon King gave a breakdown of today’s forecast.
Storm Antoni has meant that people around the UK have been facing heavy rain and wind, and he admitted that the bad weather will be here to stay for a few more days.
But Naga was unhappy with this prediction, and said: “Someone is going to lift that gloom for us.”.
Charlie then joked: “Is it him?” pointing over to Simon in the corner.
She replied: “Oh I say that, because I have such faith in you Simon, but then I see what you’re bringing me,” referencing a picture of a rainy residential street.
Simon responded: “And then I start with this lovely picture”, as they joked that the flowers in people’s gardens would be happy with the rain.
He continued: “It’s British summertime, there you go.”
However, Simon then lifted spirits when he said next week could brighten up, to
Naga replied: “This is so much better”, as she pointed at the screen and added: “It’s so much better than when you started.”
Simon then chimed in: “Oh good, only the positive stuff, but it is only a brief warm, dry spell, so we’re not talking about it getting better at the end of this and being better for a few weeks, it is going to be a short time only.”
An umimpressed Naga quickly hit back: “I was trying to bring some optimism to the room and you just stamped on it.”
Simon apologised as he said: “Sorry, yeah sorry I did but it will be positive because it will be nicer than it has been so far,” as the presenters took the show back over again.
Meanwhile, yesterday Naga said goodbye to one of her co-stars after 16 years on the BBC.
She bid a fond farewell to political correspondent Jonathan Blake and offered her congratulations after he announced he is leaving the Corporation.
Jonathan has quit BBC News after 16 years and will be joining the communications firm Headland Consultancy.
The presenter started out as a US reporter on Radio 1‘s current affairs show Newsbeat.
He spent seven months as a presenter on the World Service before being appointed a political correspondent in March 2018.
Taking to Twitter on Friday, Jonathan wrote: “Some news from me… After 16 years at the BBC and two decades as a journalist it’s time for change and a new challenge.
“Tough to say goodbye to so many fab friends and colleagues but thrilled to be joining the brilliant team at @HeadlandComms very soon!”
Naga wished her colleague well writing: “Congratulations! At least we get to chat to you @BBCBreakfast this morning before you go. x”
Jonathan replied to her tweet and said: “thank you Naga! yes, not quite done yet :)”.
