Naga joked about Matt’s appearance
Naga explained to viewers: “We’re with you until half nine today because the Commonwealth Games are on, so we’re making way for those obviously.
“And Saturday Kitchen has been shoved over to another kitchen on BBC Two this morning. Matt, good morning to you.”
Matt, 48, replied: “Good morning…shoved over.”
Naga responded: “That’s the technical term. I can show you what that looks like the next time we meet.”
After Matt chatted with his guests, conversation returned to Naga as he handed back saying: “Don’t forget we’ll be on BBC Two, shoved over to BBC Two at 10 o’clock.
“I’ve got a new shirt. We’ll see you then.”
Naga replied cheekily: “Well done with your new shirt, it’s a nice colour. It’s a bit bold for you. Less boring, isn’t it?”
Thankfully Matt laughed off her jibe and she carried on with the show.
Saturday’s edition of BBC Breakfast saw Naga present alongside a different co-host after Charlie Stayt was replaced.
Naga was instead joined by Roger Johnson, and viewers were quick to discuss Charlie’s absence.
“Spock pulled me through as we went warp factor 2. Where’s Charlie Stayt?” one viewer queried, while another questioned why he’d been replaced.
Charlie had presented Friday’s episode of BBC Breakfast, along with Naga, so many were surprised that he wasn’t on the red sofa this morning.
