It came as thunder and lightening ripped across the UK on Sunday evening
Alongside an emoji of an umbrella, thunderbolt and raincloud, the BBC Breakfast presenter asked: “Anyone else slightly scared in this stormy weather?”
In response, her colleague Matt Taylor – ironically, a meteorologist – replied: “I know someone who may have spent the last half hour at the window watching it all…”
Another person echoed Naga’s fears as they penned: “No. I’m indoors so all is good. Stay safe!”
While another quipped: “My roof garden is no longer on my roof!”

Her take on the storm comes just days after she worried viewers again after a gruesome tale about her secret dash to hospital.
She warned: “Those with a sensitive nature may not enjoy this story.”
Her co-host Charlie Stayt asked if it was a “look away moment”, to which Naga chuckled: “Well, you say look away now, that’s quite an apt thing to say.”
She went on to talk about a newspaper article about woman who had 23 disposable contact lenses lost in her eye.
“I sympathise with this woman because this has happened to me, not to the same extent,” said Naga.
Naga went on to tell of her own experience of having a contact lens jammed in her eye.
“I’ve ended up in an eye hospital trying to get it out!”, she exclaimed.
“Mine went into the back and it is so painful because you can feel it scratching, but can you imagine 23?”
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays from 6am on BBC One.
