TV presenter Anna Richardson is set to receive a boost following her split with Bake Off star Sue Perkins.
The Celeb Report understands that The Naked Attraction host will be offered a new deal to keep her out of the clutches of rival channels.
The details come as Anna gets set to front a remake of classic show Changing Rooms.
A source told The Celeb Report: “Off screen Anna has had a tough few months, but on screen things couldn’t be going better.
“And now C4 are keen to tie her down to a longer deal. Naked Attraction is one of their most watched programmes and Anna is a big part of that success.
“Anna is one of the top presenters in the country and C4 don’t want to lose her.”
Anna will be soon on Changing Rooms, which has been given a makeover with a new look line-up – and it will be decorated with naughtiness and innuendo.
Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen – the sole survivor of the original programme – has been singing the praises of new host Anna Richardson and revealed she’ll bring her Naked Attraction cheekiness to the show.
Speaking exclusively to The Celeb Report, he said: “What’s really nice with Anna is she has a sort of Peter Panishness, a puckishness, a naughtiness that she’s very much bringing to this.
“I think everyone who’s watched Naked Attraction knows she’s very clever with words, she’s very good at getting information out of people and that’s definitely something she’s using very well.”
Like Bake Off before it, Changing Rooms has swapped the BBC for Channel 4.
The cult show, which marks its 25th anniversary in September, saw neighbours take over each other’s homes alongside a professional designer and carry out makeovers with mixed results.
Anna has taken the reins from original host Carol Smilie after Davina McCall bowed out of the reboot due to her role on The Masked Singer.
Last month we told how Anna had split from ex-Great British Bake Off star Sue Perkins.
Sue, 51, and Anna, 50, had been in a relationship for seven years and were considered to be one of the strongest couples in showbiz.
A close friend of the pair told us: “It’s really sad. Both Anna and Sue are devastated. We’re all hoping they can patch things up and sort out their differences but for now it appears to be all over.”
The split came as a shock to their fans because she’d recently spoken publicly about their relationship.
She said last year: “I can only speak for myself, not Sue, but I really want to do the training and welcome a child into my life.”
Sue has said of Anna: “She is much less chaotic than me and has done quite a lot to still the gyroscope of my whirring brain.” Anna is best known for fronting Channel 4’s extreme dating show Naked Attraction since 2016.
Sue presented Bake Off with comedy pal Mel Giedroyc for six years.
Sue and Anna declined to comment.
