NETFLIX has confirmed the return of hit dystopian sci-fi thriller Black Mirror in a new trailer, which reveals series 7 will hit screens next year. The British anthology series Black Mirror is known for having a star-studded line-up – with the likes of Miley Cyrus, Domhnall Gleeson, Jessica Brown Findlay, Michael Cera, Benedict Wong and James Norton all having appeared on the show – and series 7 will be no exception.

Black Mirror’s return to Netflix has been revealed in a cryptic new trailer that gives away A-list star-studded cast in a blink-and-you-miss-it moment. As an old computer screen reboots and rattles off lines of code, names of actors are revealed. A host of A-list stars will be appearing in Black Mirror series 7.
Back to Basics with OG Black Mirror
Created by Charlie Brooker, the series, inspired by The Twilight Zone, explores various genres, with most episodes set in near-future dystopias while using themes of technology and media to comment on contemporary social issues. The new series, which will hit Netflix in 2025, will consist of six episodes. Charlie teased that viewers can expect a mix of genres and styles, with two episodes being feature-length and a return to the OG Black Mirror style of sci-fi techno-dystopia.
Exciting Sequel Episode Teased
Charlie also teased that one of the episodes in the upcoming season will be a sequel to the now-classic Season 4 opener, "USS Callister." Fans can look forward to seeing the cast of a certain spaceship from a previous episode reappearing in this highly anticipated sequel.
Star-Studded Cast Lineup
A press release from Netflix confirms that series 7 will feature a stellar cast including Emma Corrin, Peter Capaldi, Issa Rae, and many more. Patsy Ferran, Lewis Gribben, Rashida Jones, Siena Kelly, Rosy McEwen, Chris O’Dowd, Paul G. Raymond, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Harriet Walter are among the talented actors rounding out the cast for the new season.
Series 1 to 6 of Black Mirror are currently available to stream on Netflix, with series 7 set to premiere in 2025. Fans of the show can look forward to more thrilling and thought-provoking episodes in the upcoming season.
