NETFLIX viewers have joked that they are “mentally scarred” after watching a very bizarre sex scene in Obsession.
Fans of the new steamy thriller have been quick to share their shock after one of the main character’s used a hotel pillow during an erotic solo act.

Viewers found themselves hiding behind their hands in horror as William grabbed the pillow and began frantically sniffing it.
He then performed a sex act on himself while grabbing at the pillow.
The odd scene came after William’s ‘obsession’ Anna had spent the night in the same hotel room with her fiancé Jay – who also happens to be William’s son.
Logging online, Netflix fans have been busy sharing their frank thoughts on what they have witnessed.
One tweeted an emoji of a skull, adding: “That pillow scene traumatised me #ObsessionNetflix.”
Another said: “OMG #ObsessionNetflix is very cringe in places. I’m mentally scarred by the sight of a middle aged man humping a pillow.”
A third tweeted: “Never again will I come close to a hotel pillow after watching a grown man grope one!!”
And a fourth chimed in: “Ok so I’m not the only one who found that pillow scene a lot to digest then.”
And someone else even admitted: “Nothing could have mentally prepared me for this pillow scene in room 10.”
Obsession is arguably Netflix’s most racy thriller to date and stars Richard Armitage, 51, as respected surgeon William.
Happy Valley actress Charlie Murphy plays Anna, who is engaged to William’s son Jay – played by Rish Shah – in the three-parter.
The show tells the story of Anna embarking on a sordid affair with William behind her fiancé’s back.
The pillow scene takes place in episode two of Obsession, after Anna and Jay fly to Paris for a romantic mini-break.
After she and Jay have checked out of their hotel, William turns up unexpectedly and demands to secretly meet her outside.
They then have sex in an alleyway before Anna flies back to London.
It is then that obsessed William checks into the hotel room Anna and Jay had stayed in before getting jiggy with himself.
Richard, who plays William, has not been afraid of stripping naked for full-frontal scenes in the eye-popping series.
Last week, the shocked stars of Gogglebox were even treated to a glimpse.
The programme is full of racy moments – prompting Netflix to issue a tongue-in-cheek warning to viewers.
