The psychological thriller stars Sarah Paulson

The film stars Hollywood actress Sarah Paulson as the deranged mother of disabled homeschooled teenager Chloe Sherman, played by Kiera Allen.

Desiring freedom after years of isolated medical care, Chloe suspects her mother might be holding her back — and harbouring sinister secrets.

Netflix fans struggled to sit through 90 minutes of tense drama, with some saying it sent their “anxiety through the roof”.

One frightened viewers wrote: “Sarah Paulson we all peed a little when you screamed in the basement like that Run movie,” a third tweeted.

One frightened viewer wrote: “I am exhausted after watching Run movie that film sent my anxiety levels through the roof! Great film though Netflix.”

While another added: “I always find Sarah Paulson a bit creepy. But she is next level creepy in.”

The film kicks off with Diane giving birth to a premature daughter.

Seventeen years later, Diane lives a quiet life with her now-teenage daughter, Chloe.

But due to the circumstances of her birth, Chloe suffers from multiple health conditions as well as partial paralysis – meaning she uses a wheelchair and takes medications daily.

However things soon take a creepy turn and Chloe begins to suspect that she is being held against her will.

This isn’t the only film that has left fans with sleepless nights.

Spanish film Voces, or Don’t Listen as it’s billed in the UK, has been giving audiences nightmares.

Netflix users who have watched a terrifying new horror film have warned others not to view it alone.

While some fans have been “terrified to sleep alone” after watching horror movie The Unholy.

The 2021 film just hit screens on the streaming site – and fans have admitted it “scare the s*** out of them”.
