Netflix viewers threaten to switch off reality show Outlast over ‘sickening and disgusting’ behaviour

NETFLIX viewers have threatened to switch off reality show Outlast over ‘sickening and disgusting behaviour.’

The gruelling reality show sees a group of people trying to survive the outdoors in a bid to create shelter and, ultimately, survive.

And the eight-episode series has seen one survivalist in particular called into question after her behaviour displayed on the show.

Jill Ashlock has infuriated viewers after stealing someone’s sleeping bags despite the conditions everyone had to live in.

Team Alpha, which includes Jill, Justin Court, and Amber Asay, stole the sleeping bags in a shock move and led Netflix viewers to question why production “sat back and let it happen.”

At the time, the temperate in Alaska had dropped to subfreezing temperatures, meaning the lives of the other team players were put in danger.

Fans were in uproar social media, as one person wrote: “Jill is a disgusting & disgraceful excuse for a human being. She has ruined this show.”

Another person penned: “That was evil, and shame on Netlix for allowing it. The producers saw it in tape and let it play out. Disgusting really.”

A third said: “This is not entertainment, this is absolutely disgusting behaviour. Boycott this show now.”

A fourth person wrote: “Netflix should be ashamed of themselves and I hope the family of these two dispicable human beings have the heart to leave them.”

Someone else said: “Jill & Amber are vile humans. Cry that bad things happen to them, but your attitude to others is disgusting. It’s ok to bully and steal but complain when things don’t go your way?!”

And a sixth person penned: “Jill on Outlast should be ashamed. What a disgusting display of behaviour.”

Those that go on to win the show will bag a huge cash prize – the catch being that you have to be in a team to win.

Contestants are split into four team – Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta – and after weeks spent in the cold, with testing conditions and betrayal and sabotage, it really is a fight for survival.
