Netflix’s Tiny Pretty Things star admits he watched his sex scenes with his grandparents after show was labelled ‘porn’

NETFLIX’S Tiny Pretty Things star Brennan Clost has admitted he watched his sex scenes with his grandparents after the show was labelled ‘porn’.

The series has caught people’s attention since it arrived on the streaming service because of its raunchy nature, despite it being about teenage ballerinas at a prestigious ballet school.

Brennan Clost has revealed how he watched his Tiny Pretty Things sex scenes with his grandparents.

Brennan plays gay dancer Shane, and has a number of sex scenes including the longest one of the entire show.

Speaking about the scenes, Brennan told Attitude he actually got advice from his grandparents ahead of filming them as he was so nervous.

He said: “I remember talking to my grandparents about it, and I was going on and on, saying ‘I’m really nervous about the sex scenes, my butt’s gonna be on TV’, and my grandma just said, ‘Brennan, a butt’s a butt’.

“So that really got me out of my head.”

Viewers have compared the show’s sex scenes to “soft porn”

Having gone to them for advice ahead of filming, it’s no surprise Brennan then watched the finished scenes with his family.

He said: “So we actually were sent the episodes a few months ago, and I showed my grandparents the first episode, and I warned them, like ‘There’s a sex scene’, you’ll see my butt’, and they were like ‘Whatever, we don’t care!’

“My grandparents are some of the most liberal and accepting people I’ve ever known, and they loved it.

“My parents and I sat and watched all 10 episodes together, but I did fast-forward the big sex scene in episode six.

“I made the decision. I was like ‘I would like to skip it, I’m going to feel weird!’”

While his family took the scenes in their stride, viewers have taken issue with the amount of sex on the show.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “One even tweeted: “Maybe it’s me, but there is no need for Tiny Pretty Things to literally be softcore porn. There is no need for these actors/actresses to be naked all the time or for all the explicit sex scenes, especially while portraying teenagers”.
