DRAGONS’ Den star Steven Bartlett has revealed his incredible body transformation.
In a little over the year, Steven has swapped a belly for a six-pack and sculpted the rest of his physique.
Posting before and after pictures on Twitter, he explained the new look was born from a change in mindset.
He wrote: “March ‘20 vs June ‘21 Better strength, stamina, energy, confidence and mental health. I struggled for years because my goals were short-term, intense and superficial: ‘look good for summer’.
“As soon as my goal became long-term consistency and feeling good, everything changed.”
The coronavirus pandemic prompted him to reevaluate his health and lifestyle, with wellbeing becoming the most important thing in his life.
The businessman, who is estimated to be worth £60million, said: “If the pandemic has taught me anything, it’s that we have nothing without our health – our health is our first foundation.
“Our dreams, ambitions, experiences, relationships and passions are all contingent on a foundation of good health – without our health, we have nothing.
“Therefore, my physical and mental health have to be my first priority. To me this means: 1. Exercising a few times a week. 2. Being more conscious about what I’m eating and drinking. 3. Dedicating time to relax, stop, pause. 4. Spending more quality time with loved ones.”
When one of his followers suggested he’d “juiced up” to gain his bulging muscles, Steven set him straight.
He continued: “I’ve spent my life avoiding having a single paracetamol or more than one cup of coffee because it might upset my internal equilibrium, so I don’t think I’d be able to find the courage to do ‘juice’ or whatever you’re implying.”
