He stated, "I won't be taking part in any more paid external events in the foreseeable future, beyond a handful of pre-existing commitments, so that this doesn't happen again."

The unreported earnings ranged between £145,000 and £255,000 and included payments for hosting, speaking, and chairing panels. Myrie received over £10,000 for five gigs and more than £5,000 for 18 other events, dating back to March 2021.
