Nick Cannon welcomes his 12th child as baby mama Alyssa Scott reveals newborn’s gender and unique name

NICK Cannon has welcomed his 12th child – just weeks after his 11th baby was born.

Baby mama Alyssa Scott has announced the birth of their second child together after the devastating loss of their newborn son Zen.

The couple suffered the passing of their five-month-old baby in December of 2021 after he was diagnosed with brain cancer.

Alyssa, 29, took to her Instagram profile on Thursday to announce the arrival of her third child, and Nick’s 12th overall, a baby girl named Halo Marie.

The model shared a sweet and gentle maternity video from photographer and videographer Rebecca Coursey as she welcomed her infant daughter.

The words: “Hey baby, welcome!” appeared on the screen before a quote reading: “Grief is love inside you shedding its skin, becoming a new form of love.”

Alyssa then shared footage of a memorial of her son Zen, as well as a tattoo of his name down the middle of her back.

The video then transitioned into a series of maternity shots from her most recent pregnancy.

The Instagram model sported an off-the-shoulder gray dress that showed off her full baby bump as she laughed and smiled at the window in her nursery.

Alyssa included audio from her daughter’s birth in the hospital as she went into labor.

She shared shots of a poll between family and friends on whether the child would be a boy or girl.

The video also showed Nick, 42, helping to deliver his newborn daughter in the hospital, as he beamed a big smile while in scrubs.

Alyssa cried as her little girl was handed to her across the hospital bed in an intimate moment caught on camera.

The TV personality and his baby mama snapped a selfie with their newborn daughter before the video closed out with her name and birth date, reading: “Halo Marie, December 14th, 2022.”

She captioned her post: “December 14 2022. Our lives are forever changed. Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning.

“I know he is watching down on us. He shows me signs everyday. I will hold onto this memory forever. I will remember the sound of Nicks voice saying ‘it’s a girl’ and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face.”

Alyssa continued: “I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine.

On November 3rd, Alyssa confirmed that she was pregnant with Nick’s baby with a fully nude NSFW maternity shoot.

Less than a week later, the actor announced the birth of his 11th child, Beautiful Zeppelin, with the mother of his twins, Abby De La Rosa.

The birth of Abby De La Rosa’s Beautiful was Cannon’s third child in 2022 alone.

The star welcomed his 10th child with former partner and baby mama Brittany Bell on September 30, 2022, Rise Cannon.

Alongside a photo of him with Brittany, he wrote: “Another Blessing!!! As my journey on this planet becomes more and more remarkable and unfathomable, all I can do is thank God and continue to ask the Most High to order my steps.”

On September 14, 2022, Lanisha Cole gave birth to Cannon’s ninth baby, Onyx Ice.

Cannon did not release the news that he was having another child with Cole until after their baby was born.

In July 2022, Nick announced the birth of his son and eighth child overall, Legendary Love with model Breana Tiesi.

Alyssa and the comedian welcomed their son Zen in June of 2021, though he passed away in December just months later.

The Nickelodeon alum and De La Rosa welcomed their twins Zillion and Zion in June 2021.

In December 2020, the TV star welcomed his daughter Powerful Queen with model Brittany Bell.

Nick and Brittany previously welcomed their son Golden Cannon in 2017.

He also shares twins Moroccan and Monroe, now 11, with his ex-wife Mariah Carey.
