Radio DJ Nick Grimshaw takes over as host of The Bad Dog Academy
A Channel 4 show's set was placed on lockdown over a 'terrifying' dog that left everyone scared. Nick Grimshaw has officially taken over as host of The Bad Dog Academy as it returns for a brand new series, aiming to help Britain’s most troubled dogs and their desperate owners. The new series will feature a team of top dog trainers working their magic once again.
'Ghost' the Cane Corso causes chaos on set
During filming, one dog named Ghost, a Cane Corso, threw the set into chaos and left the crew scared. Nick Grimshaw shared his experience, recalling, "There was a great big dog called Ghost. You know, that was quite terrifying. It was in the morning we'd all get together with the trainers and talk about who was coming in that day. I'd never met a Cane Corso and I'd never even seen one in real life. I was like, is it going to come to the show?"
He continued, "And one of the trainers said 'oh you better get ready today.' It was really serious. We had signs up around the set warning people not to enter certain areas because of the dog's presence. Eventually, they let him in, the dog that everyone was scared of. But yeah, he was a big guy."
What to expect from The Bad Dog Academy
Viewers of The Bad Dog Academy will witness owners being trained in dog management skills and psychology, while their misbehaving pooches will undergo expert-led training sessions to address their behavior issues.
