NICK Knowles’ Big House Clearout viewers all had the same complaint about last night’s episode – but did you spot it?
The Channel 5 show sees the DIY expert and his team totally transform messy homes if the guests agree to get rid of their unwanted clutter.
Thursday’s instalment saw Cheryl, partner Robert and her two daughters Tia and Cherys ask for help.
The mum-of-two explained to Nick that she doesn’t like to throw things away and her eldest Tia is starting to show signs of inheriting that trait.
After taking everything out of their house, they were hit with the harsh reality of how much they have been hoarding and agreed to get rid of half.
In return, Nick and the team started work on the house by transforming the girls’ bedrooms, the spare room and the living space.
The family were over the moon with the makeover, but eagle-eyed fans spotted an ongoing theme throughout each room.
Many took to Twitter to discuss why the designers used the colour green so much, with one pointing out it must have been to save money.
One wrote: “They must have got a discount for bulk buying green paint.”
Another certainly wasn’t impressed with the choice as they tweeted: “If they painted my house that horrible green I would put all the stuff back in it and torch it…”
A third added: “GREEN!!!!! I hate these designers experimenting in people’s houses.”
A fourth chimed in: “That green wall in the bedroom is the wrong colour for the wallpaper.”
This isn’t the first time the programme has left fans feeling frustrated.
Last month viewers were left raging over a family’s home transformation.
Although the Oram family were pleased with the results, many weren’t impressed with dad Trevor’s new office.
One weore on Twitter: “#bighouseclearout #nickknowles @Channel5Press seriously? The mum gets a massive under stairs workshop to ‘potter’, but the poor dad who brings in the wage is dumped in a insulated outside cupboard?!?”
Another added simply: “The house is just too small for them that’s why it looks cluttered.”
