Nick Knowles shares update from hospital
NICK Knowles has shared an update from the hospital, revealing he's undergoing surgery after a major injury on Strictly Come Dancing. The DIY SOS star, 62, mentioned he now has a 'reattached bicep' and faces 'two or three months' of physiotherapy.
Injury on Strictly
During rehearsals, Nick fell and injured his shoulder and knee, leading him and his dance partner, Luba Mushtuk, to withdraw from Strictly Come Dancing’s Movie Week. The knee damage required an MRI scan and left Nick on crutches.
The elimination
Despite his efforts to continue on the show, Nick and Luba were eliminated during the dance-off against Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu. Nick expressed gratitude for the experience and mentioned the opportunity to focus on his recovery and spend time with his family.
Gratitude for support
Nick thanked his fiance Katie Dadzie for her support throughout the Strictly journey and highlighted the care he received from medical staff and fellow competitors. Despite the challenges, Nick expressed his surprise at how much he enjoyed the experience.
