Campmates Went Days Without Washing
Nicola McLean, former Page 3 girl and contestant on I'm A Celebrity, has opened up about the shocking conditions in the show's camp that forced the cast to go days without washing. Many of the other campmates resisted using the jungle shower due to the freezing conditions.
McLean Was Happy to Strip Off for Camera Time
Unlike her fellow contestants, Nicola McLean was more than willing to strip off and use the jungle shower back in 2008. She admitted that she wanted to get as much air time as possible and was willing to endure the uncomfortable conditions.
Behind-the-Scenes Secrets and Smuggling Contraband
In addition to sharing her experiences with the jungle shower, McLean revealed some behind-the-scenes secrets from the show. Contestants were only allowed to bring one luxury item, but she managed to smuggle in waterproof mascara, concealer, and an eyebrow pencil in her bra. She cheekily added that she could probably take her whole makeup bag undetected.
Battling for Popular Items
On I'm A Celebrity, contestants are not allowed to request the same luxury item as someone else. This means that they will have to compete to lay claim to the most popular items. They are also given the opportunity to win one item of their choosing during tasks.
