There will be a heartbreaking new story for David’s son Ollie, while Iain will make a breakthrough in his search for Elvira in the first instalment.
The second episode will largely focus on Ethan, as his attempts to move on with his life is stalled by the unexpected return of his late fiancée Fenisha.
Here we take a look at nine huge spoilers for this week.
1. Iain is on a mission
The drama kicks off with Iain on a mission to track down Elvira and heads back to Abbeycroft Farm, convinced there’s something going on.
The paramedic calls in sick, but his plan quickly goes awry when he calls police officer Fifon – who informs him that she can’t simply arrest people for looking dodgy.
But Iain finds himself in more trouble when farm manager Pat recognises him from before and the pair have an altercation.
2. Iain’s lands himself in more trouble
Iain’s day goes from bad to worse when he manages to escape with Pat’s phone – but Pat tracks him down on a country lane, leading to a second scuffle.
As Pat tries to get his phone back, he is accidentally hit by an oncoming van and is left with a serious leg injury.
Iain asks the driver to call 999, but becomes suspicious when Pat insists on there being no ambulance or police.
Iain is then instructed to leave when Jan and Sah arrive at the scene and is later told by Fifon that Pat had has made a complaint about him for breaking into his farm and stealing his phone.
3. Breakthrough for Iain
Despite some setbacks, Iain is determined to still find Elvira and puts Pat’s SIM card in his phone.
It then stumbles across a message about a delivery at Abbeycroft Farm.
He heads back there, where he hears squeals coming from inside a shipment container.
He cracks it open and finds a number of refugees who have been transported in shocking conditions.
Iain finally has the evidence he needs.
Ffion arrests Pat for human trafficking, but Iain is still distraught as Elvira is nowhere to be found.
Ffion advises Iain to stop his search, while praising him for saving several lives.
But a fired up Iain ignores her advice and continues the search alone.
4. Ollie is taunted by his classmates
Meanwhile, Ollie is on a school trip at the ED, but is embarrassed that his dad David is running the session.
When David steps outside to take a phone call, the youngster’s peers Dan and Louise as where the smoking area is.
Ollie initially refuses to join them, but they accuse him of being boring and he eventually succumbs.
Dan and Louise then find an unattended ambulance and steal gas and air from it.
They all sneak into a disabled toilet, where Ollie is pressured into trying some as well.
5. Ollie collapses
Trying to fit in and look cool, Ollie takes more gas and air but he suddenly collapses and hits his head on a sink.
David is shocked to find Dylan treating Ollie, and is angry that his son won’t explain what happened.
David decides to teach him a lesson by insisting that he will report his son’s behaviour to the school.
Ollie is then left mortified when troublemaker Dan posts a nasty video about him online.
Will Ollie come clean to his dad?
6. Newcomer Amy
Police officer Amy makes her debut as she joins Ethan for a date, where she narrowly manages to avoid a speeding taxi.
Awkwardly, it’s Ethan who hops out of the taxi, but the pair attempt to break the ice as Amy convinces Ethan to recall some horror stories from working at the hospital.
This leads to a string of flashback to last summer – when Fenisha was still alive.
7. Ethan goes on a date

Through a series of flashbacks, viewers will see how Ethan met his new romantic interest Amy.

9. Fenisha returns
As Ethan struggles to move on, the grieving doctor will be reunited once again with Fenisha, as the scenes switch from past to present.
Olivia D’Lima has reprised her role for the special episode, which will reveal new insight into Fenisha’s final weeks alive.
As it serves as a way of helping Ethan to move forward with his life, he comes to the realisation that it’s too soon.
He reveals to Amy about his past with Fenisha and says he won’t be able to continue seeing her.
After saying goodbye Amy, Jan offers him some words of comfort and explains that although he’s not ready right now, he will be one day.
