THE time has come for Emma Brooker and Faye Windass’ secret to be unraveled.
As the truth comes to light, the Rovers barmaid leaves Coronation Street. Here’s what you need to know about the drama ahead.
1. Jon learns the truth
Jon Spear (Jordan Ford Silver) and Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) have been enjoying their time together.
Their relationship has grown over the weeks and, this week, Jon feels comfortable enough to suggest she move to Australia with him.
But while their romance was growing, Emma kept their connection under wraps, fearing any consequences for her involvement in Ted’s (Jon’s grandfather) death.
When Jon arrives back at the flat after realising he forgot his phone, it looks like the cat’s out of the bag when Faye looks at him in shock.

Later on, Emma is at daggers drawn with Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) as Jon unexpectedly arrives at the flat.
Jon demands answers… and Faye confesses the truth about Ted’s death, once again.
How will Jon react?
2. Faye in miscarriage horror
After jumping through many hurdles together, Faye and her partner Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) were hopeful to build their own family.
The couple were over the moon when the youngster found out she was pregnant.
This week, the pair are first excited when they return from an appointment with the midwife and head to the Bistro for a celebratory lunch.
But amid drama surrounding Jon and Emma, things begin to go south.
The pressure and a row with Emma about Jon become too much to handle for Faye.
In later scenes, a pale Faye emerges from the bathroom after arguing with Emma.
She tells Emma she believes she is losing her baby.
Faye is rushed to the hospital and she awaits the scan results with Craig.
The couple are shocked by what they are told.
3. Emma leaves Weatherfield
As mentioned above, Jon finds out Emma and Faye are both responsible for Ted’s death, which occurred in January, 2022.
The frail pensioner was hit by the pair’s car but assured he was fine and was in no need of any hospital care.
He eventually succumbed to a blood clot resulting from the crash and was found deceased in his home.
As the truth is finally revealed, Emma makes the decision to turn away from the cobbles.
But is she leaving with Jon for a new life in Australia or is she going on the run from the authorities.
4. Toyah makes a decision about Elsie
Speaking of secrets and babies…
Toyah Battersby’s (Georgia Taylor) world comes crashing down after she finds out Imran Habeeb has had a baby with Abi Webster, following a one night stand.
This week, she feels the need to reconsider everything she has ever planned as all her ambitions are turned on their heads.
This includes the adoption of young foster child Elsie.
Coming up, as Toyah comes to terms with Imran’s secret, she has to make some decisions about what to do about the adoption.
Abi is later surprised to find Toyah in the neonatal unit, gazing at Alfie in his incubator.
It soon appears that Toyah has made her decision as Imran (Charlie De Melo) says an emotional goodbye to Elsie.
While he promises Abi he will help her keep her son, Imran gets some more bad news from Toyah.
She reveals that social services have reported him to the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority for his involvement in Abi’s custody battle.
5. Fiz confides in Tyrone
Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) has been focusing on her relationship with newcomer Phill Whittaker (Jamie Kenna).
The new couple have been planning on selling their home on the Street and moving to a posh new house after Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) agreed to drop the asking price on the house for a quick sale.
This week, Fiz gets ready to leave Weatherfield as she packs the moving van with her boxes.
But she then drops a huge bombshell on Tyrone.
Fiz confesses that she is worried she is making a big mistake.
Wanting what is best for her he tells her she deserves a fresh start in a big house with a garden for the girls and waves her off.
However, Tyrone hides his own heartache with a smile.
Fiz does her best to appear enthusiastic as the new move sinks in and while Beth and Sean gently rib her about her new house.
Later on, Fiz calls at the garage and Tyrone finally admits how much he misses her and the girls.
Will they give their relationship another go?
6. Summer’s friends worry
As her eating disorder continues to get out of hand, Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) becomes the main topic of discussion for her friends, while their worries about her health grow.
Asha Alahan confides in her brother Aadi that she’s concerned about Summer and suspects she’s not managing her Type 1 diabetes properly.
Aadi (Adam Hussain) quizzes Summer and the teen plays it cool, still determined to keep her battle under wraps.
She admits that when she went out with the girls, she didn’t bother to take her blood sugar as she wanted to feel like a normal teenager for the night.
But how long will it take her to finally ask for help?
7. Nick is rejected by Sam
Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) does what he can for his son Sam (Jude Riordan) this week.
Conceding he’s been overprotective of the eleven-year-old, Nick agrees to let Sam take part in a children’s chess tournament Roy Cropper (David Neilson) mentioned to him.
Sam is thrilled to hear all about it but soon unknowingly drives a wedge between himself and his father.
The young boy asks Roy to take him and Nick has to hide his disappointment.
8. Daisy questions Nicky
Daisy Midgeley’s (Charlotte Jordan) jealousy hasn’t dissipated as she’s still adamant on pushing Nicky Wheatley (Kimberly Hart-Simpson).
After a lovely day out with Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), the barmaid is furious when Nicky calls in at the Rovers.
She tells Daniel she has been offered the TA position, despite Daisy’s initial efforts at making life hard for her.
As Daisy quizzes Nicky over her previous career, she darts to think she may be hiding something.
Little does she know she is right as Nicky would rather keep her past as a sex worker a secret.
9. Laura takes her last breath
Laura Neelan (Kel Allen) is at death’s door this week.
Coming up, Gary Windass (Mikey North) visits her in hospital and is shocked at her deterioration.
With tears in her eyes, Laura admits that she’d give anything to be able to hug her daughter Kelly (Millie Gibson).
But persuading Kelly to say goodbye to her mother is no easy feat.
Meanwhile, Maria and Kelly are about to leave for the hairdressing awards.
Gary hurries over to them and reveals that he’s had a call from the hospital warning him that Laura only has hours to live – but Kelly does not want to let Laura ruin her big day.
Kelly is on a high as she wins Best Trainee Stylist and knocks back the wine.
